Step 1 Application:
KDD mostly accepts applications submitted through its career
site. The entire application process should take no longer
than 7-8 minutes and typically involves three stages:
Entering basic personal information
Answering job-specific questions
Copying and pasting as well as uploading your CV
We take the view that if you are passionate about our
company you will be more than willing to take a little time
to complete this process. If you have applied though a
recruitment agency your application will be processed as of
step 2 onward.
Step 2 Screening:
Your application will be assessed by our recruitment staffs
and if you successfully match the job requirements, your
application will gets shortlisted
Step 3 Shortlisting:
If your application is shortlisted, your profile and details
will be reviewed by the Requesting Department who will gauge
the technical skills and specific experience for the role
and with the recruitment team, selects the candidates who
will be contacted for interview.
Step 4 Interviews:
Our recruitment team will contact shortlisted applicants to
arrange an initial interview, which will be either
face-to-face or by telephone, depending on the candidate's
location. The initial interview will examine the
competencies and skills required for the role you have
applied for. We will also discuss, where applicable, your
readiness to relocate to a new country. A face-to-face
interview will follow the telephone interview and if
selected, you will then be invited to a professional
interview
The professional interview, is a targeted competency based
interview, evaluating and validating previous experience,
education (when relevant)
Final shortlisting is then processed, for selection to be
finalized. Now, for overseas managerial positions candidates,
the final selection stage will always include a visit to the
country where the position is located. The decision to
relocate to a new country is not one you should take
lightly, so we will give you the opportunity to see for
yourself what that country is like.
We encourage applicants to treat the final stage as a
two-way decision making process, and you will find that our
HR staffs will always give you honest answers to the many
questions you will undoubtedly have. You will also have the
chance to speak with some of our existing expatriates, who will be happy to share their own experiences of
life in the region - both the many positives and the
occasional frustrations, too!.
Step 5 Offer:
If you are successful at this stage you will receive a
formal letter of intent from KDD. On your written acceptance
of the role, we start to co-ordinate your on boarding
process for you. Relocating from one country to another is a
time-consuming process, so we work hard to make sure joining
KDD is as straightforward for you as possible. This includes
arranging the required visas and assisting with any other
formalities required under local labor law.
We will also arrange temporary accommodation for you prior
to your arrival and will do all we can to help you to find
your flat during your first weeks with the company.
Please note that upon receipt of an offer from KDD, you may
be required to provide some or all of the following:
Employment References
Certified: Educational Degree(s): from Ministries of
Education and Foreign Affairs
Police Good Conduct Certificate / Criminal Records Check :
from the country of origin
and if living abroad from the country (ies) lived in for the last 10
years
Medical Reports : Relevant Embassy regulation since the
position could be anywhere
we operate
Other documentation as required by local labour law
Our Personnel Manager will provide you with more information
on what documents we need from you and advise you on how to
process it in your home country. If you have any doubts
about your ability to provide any of the above, you should
inform the Personnel Manager as soon as possible. We always
ask for references from your previous employers and these
will be sought on your written acceptance of the job offer.
