Sift flour into the bowl and stir in sugar. Make a
hole in the center.
Mix egg and milk and add to flour all at once. Whisk
until all the liquid is mixed and the batter is
smooth.
Brush bottom of the frying pan lightly with melted
butter. Drop heaped tablespoons of mixture onto base
of pan about 2 cm. apart.
Cook over medium heat for 1 minute or until the
underside is golden and the top is bubbly. Turn
pancakes over, using an egg slice. Cook 1 minute
more or until golden on the other side.
Take pancakes out of the pan; repeat with the
remaining mixture, allow pancakes to cool. Serve
with jam or honey and KDD thick cream. Enjoy.
