How we Recruit

At KDD we only accept online job applications. We take all applicants through a structured recruitment process. The following steps will give you an idea of what to expect.

Why Work for Us

Step 1. Application

All applications must be submitted initially through KDD’s career site. The process should take no longer than 10 minutes and involves three stages:

* Entering basic personal information.
* Answering job-specific questions.
* Uploading your CV.

Step 2. Screening

Your application will initially be assessed by our state-of-the-art recruitment software. If you match KDD’s job requirements, it will be forwarded to our recruitment team for review.

The team will evaluate your profile, assess your answers to the job-related questions and review your CV to determine whether your skills and experience match the job profile and requirements. A short list of candidates is created.

Step 3. Shortlisting

If your application is shortlisted, your CV and other data will be reviewed by the Line Manager (the person who will eventually manage or supervise the successful candidate). With the recruitment team, he/she will select the candidates who will be contacted for interview.

Step 4. Interviews

Our recruitment team will contact shortlisted applicants to arrange a preliminary interview, either face-to-face or on the telephone, depending on the candidate’s location. The interview will examine the candidate’s experience and skills required for the job. We will also discuss your reasons for choosing KDD, and, where applicable, your readiness to relocate.

The final selection can consist of interviews, presentations, role play or set tasks, measured against the requirements for the job. Recruitment, Human Resource and relevant departments are all involved, to ensure that we hire the best candidate for the job.

Prior to meeting us you will receive additional information about KDD and the job, and you will have a chance to ask questions at every stage of the application process.

Applicants should treat the final stage as a two-way mutual decision making process. Our recruitment team will always give you honest answers to the questions you will have. You will also have opportunities to speak with some of our existing expatriate co-workers who will be happy to share their own experiences on life in the region.

Step 5. The Offer

If you are successful, you will receive a formal offer of employment from KDD, to which you should reply in writing.

Relocating is a challenging process, so we work hard to make sure joining KDD is as easy for you as possible. This includes arranging the required visas and assisting with any other formalities required under the local labor law.

We will arrange temporary accommodation for you prior to your arrival, and will do all we can to help you find your feet during your first few weeks at KDD.

Please note that on receipt of an offer from KDD, you may be required to provide some or all of the following:

* Employment references
* Police good conduct certificate/criminal records check
* Medical reports
* Other documentation required by local labor law

Your Recruitment Co-ordinator will provide you with more information on what we need from you and advise on how to obtain these in your home country. If you have doubts about your ability to provide any of them, you should inform the Recruitment Co-ordinator as early in the process as possible. We always ask for references from your previous employers and these will be sought on your written acceptance of the job offer.
