KDD began its production of milk and yogurt in 1962 with the opening of its model plant in Al-Shuwaikh. Maintaining its quality performance, KDD’s dairy and food products steadily gained market dominance and became renowned for their superior quality. The ever-growing demand led to the opening of the Al-Sabhan factory in 1982.
