The Women Committee Sports Day is an annual event organized by the women’s sports committee. The event helps raise awareness of the multitude of sports options for women and girls in the country. It also serves to bridge the communication gap between sports federations and the community. A collaborative event that brings members from all federations to help put together an all-inclusive sports day for girls and women. As part of the international women’s day celebrations, KDD was proud to participate in this event through sampling and sponsorship. The event saw close to 600 attendees, including participants and well wishers on Saturday 12th March 2022, at Jaber Al Ahmad, Kuwait Olympic Committee Headquarters.
The event was organized by the Women Sports Committee, part of the Kuwait Olympic Committee.
KDD was invited by the Public Authority of Industry to participate at the Dubai Expo. The event was a huge success with high levels of engagement from visitors and pavilion delegates. KDD sampled no added sugar products and showcased its nutritional philosophy at the event. KDD’s activities went viral on social media which helped increase the footfall to the booth. A lot of school children visited the KDD booth and were happy to receive goody bags of Fortified Milks and no added sugar juices.
The event continued for a week from 23rd March to 30th March 2022 at the Kuwait Pavilion at the Expo facility in Dubai.
The Arabian horse is part of the Arab world’s history and tradition. In Kuwait, the objective is to preserve the breed and to further its importance worldwide. During the last forty years, the Kuwait Arabian Horse Center has taken a keen interest in breeding pure bred Arabian horses. The center was renamed as Bait-Al-Arab.
KDD is proud to be associated with Bait Al Arab – part of a great heritage. The KDD sponsored event comprised 2 phases. The first between 2nd and 5th Feb 2022. The second between 17th and 19th Feb 2022. KDD participated through sponsorship, sales and sampling at the venue. The event was a grand success showcasing Arabian purebreds, with participation among patrons and enthusiasts alike.
The Duathlon is a two-disciplined multisport event that involves running and cycling with run-bike-run combinations. It comprises three parts, a run, cycling, and a final run. The event was organized by the Kuwait Triathlon Club, the official governing body of the Triathlon in Kuwait. The newly formed club plays an important role in building Olympic triathlon champions.
The event on 5th March 2022 at the Mishref Oasis was a great success, with close to 600 attendees. KDD participated through sponsorship and sampling at the venue.
KDD participated in Shaping a New Future of Nutrition, organized by the WEF on 16 March 2022. The World Economic Forum Food Systems Initiative galvanizes multi-sectoral leadership to support collective regional and country-led action, and advancing global insight and policy, to accelerate food systems transformations to meet the needs of people and planet.
KDD used this opportunity to showcase its new nutrition philosophy – the metabolic matrix – that guides reformulation and innovation efforts.
